IICMP Membership

We offer three categories of membership within the IICMP, designed to support Clinical Measurement Physiologists.

  • We offer Full Membership to Clinical Measurement Physiologists who hold an IICMP approved qualification and are employed in Ireland.
  • We offer Affiliate Membership to Clinical Measurement Physiologists who hold an IICMP approved qualification and are employed by a business, educational institution, or organisation, registered or operating in Ireland.
  • We offer Student Membership to student Clinical Measurement Physiologists, enrolled on an approved or pre-registered academic programme in Ireland.

Full Membership

For 2025

Full Membership is open to Clinical Measurement Physiologists who hold an approved qualification and are actively working in one of the five recognised professions of Clinical Measurement Physiology in Ireland.

Full Members must hold a recognised Irish qualification — or a qualification deemed equivalent by the IICMP — and their primary role is employed as a Clinical Measurement Physiologist in Ireland.

As a Full Member of the IICMP, you are entitled to:

Join working groups and national representation groups, contributing your expertise to key initiatives. Actively shape your profession by adding to the collective voice of the IICMP — championing excellence, innovation, and progress.

Hold office on IICMP Executive Committees and subgroups, helping to guide professional standards and development.

Serve on the IICMP Board of Directors, influencing strategic decisions at the highest level.

Vote on matters affecting your profession, ensuring your voice is heard in shaping the future of Clinical Measurement Physiology.

Affiliate Membership is open to Clinical Measurement Physiologists who hold a recognised Irish qualification — or a qualification deemed equivalent by the IICMP — required to work as a Clinical Measurement Physiologist in Ireland and are currently employed by an  educational institution, organisation or business registered or operating in Ireland, working in the broader field of Clinical Measurement Physiology.

Please note: Affiliate Members are not eligible to hold office on the Executive Board or to vote.

Joining as an Affiliate Member strengthens your professional profile by demonstrating your commitment to high professional and ethical standards.

Student Membership is available to students enrolled on an approved academic program in Ireland which prepare students for a career in Clinical Measurement Physiology
