Membership

Full Membership of the professional body is open to Clinical Measurement Physiologist eligible to practice in Ireland and Student Members on a approved or pre registration academic programme.

When applying for membership you will be required to submit the following documentation:

  • Certified Copy of your Qualification Certificate (a certified copy is a photocopy of the document which has been certified by an appropriate authority .
  • Signed and Stamped Reference Letter from your place of work.
  • Student Members – Copy of your Student Card

Full Membership

The IICMP represents health professionals working in the area of clinical measurement physiology.

FULL MEMBERS.

These members shall be all persons who hold the recognised Irish Qualifications or a deemed equivalent qualification by the IICMP to work as a Clinical Measurement Physiologist in Ireland and whose primary role of employment is as a Clinical Measurement Physiologist. Full membership shall allow the member to hold office on the Board of Directors and to vote.

Associate Membership is awarded to those who demonstrates up to date relevant professional skills and knowledge

AFFILIATE MEMBERS.

These members shall be all persons who hold the recognised Irish Qualifications or a deemed equivalent qualification by the IICMP to work as a Clinical Measurement Physiologist in Ireland, but who are not primarily employed in a Clinical Measurement role. They are engaged in the wider field of Clinical Measurement. Affiliate member shall not be eligible to hold office on the Executive Board or to vote.

Being an Associate member strengthens your professional credentials by demonstrating that you professional and ethical standards. Membership also provides opportunities to connect with other high calibre professionals.

Honorary Members


NO FEE

These members shall be persons whom the Board of Directors select in recognition of their contribution and support to the Institute. Honorary members shall not be eligible to hold office on the Board of Directors or to vote. However an Honorary member may also be eligible to hold Full membership and as such is eligible to hold office and to vote.

Full Members


These members shall be all persons who hold the recognised Irish Qualifications or a deemed equivalent qualification by the IICMP to work as a Clinical Measurement Physiologist in Ireland and whose primary role of employment is as a Clinical Measurement Physiologist. Honorary Members (no membership fee required)


These members shall be persons whom the Board of Directors select in recognition of their contribution and support to the Institute. Honorary members shall not be eligible to hold office on the Board of Directors or to vote. However an Honorary member may also be eligible to hold Full membership and as such is eligible to hold office and to vote.

The Executive Committee decision shall be final in matters of membership eligibility.
