We offer a range of membership levels tailored to different career stages and professional needs. For full details of each membership level, please refer to the IICMP Membership Policy.

Each membership level requires the member to hold an approved qualification recognised by the IICMP or if qualified outside of Ireland, hold a letter from the IICMP / HSE recognising their international qualification. For Student membership, a student must be enrolled full-time on an IICMP-approved entry to practice programme in Ireland.

Full Membership is suitable for Clinical Measurement Physiologists who – 

  • Graduated more than two years ago.
  • Are employed in one of the five Clinical Measurement Physiology Professions in Ireland.
  • Are employed in a practising Clinical Measurement Physiologist role, full time or part time.

Affiliate Membership

Affiliate Membership is suitable for Clinical Measurement Physiologists who –

  • Are primarily employed in an allied health setting, education in Ireland
  • Are engaged in part-time clinical practice in one of the five clinical measurement professions, in Ireland.

Non-Practicing Membership is suitable for Clinical Measurement Physiologists who are –

  • Not currently practising clinically in Ireland.
  • Retired, on career break, parental leave, employed in an allied setting, education, research, industry, or management.
