IICMP Recruitment Advertising and Eligibility Criteria
The IICMP supports the advertisement of both clinical and non-clinical roles. While non-clinical positions may have their own specific eligibility requirements, roles advertised for Clinical Measurement Physiologists must align with the IICMP recruitment eligibility criteria outlined below.
Clinical Measurement Physiologist – Eligibility Qualification Criteria
For positions in Clinical Measurement Physiology, the qualification requirements specified within the job description or person specification must be consistent with the IICMP recruitment eligibility criteria as outlined below –
Essential Statutory Qualifications & Experience:
- Possess the BSc in Clinical Measurement from Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin) or Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT)
Or
- Possess an equivalent relevant scientific qualification (Level 8) as confirmed by the Irish Institute of Clinical Measurement Physiology (IICMP)
Or (if qualified in or prior to 2005):
- Possess the Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement (MPPM) from Dublin Institute of Technology
Or
- Possess an equivalent relevant scientific qualification as confirmed by the Irish Institute of Clinical Measurement Physiology (IICMP)
