Health and Social Care Professions (HSCP) Conference 2026 

We are delighted to invite you to register to attend the Health and Social Care Professions (HSCP) Conference 2026  taking place on Wednesday the 14^th of October 2026 in the Irish Management Institute, Sandyford, Dublin.

Under the theme Lead, Learn, Innovate, this year’s conference promises to be an inspiring and engaging event, showcasing the impact of HSCPs across Irish public healthcare in the areas of Leadership, Innovation, and Education.

Attendees will benefit from a dynamic programme, valuable networking opportunities, and insights into key future developments relevant to HSCPs.

Spaces are limited and while every effort will be made to accommodate as many as possible, we kindly ask that you do not make any travel arrangements until you have received confirmation of a place.

We are also delighted to invite nominations for the inaugural HSCP Practice Education Champion Awards 2026, which will be presented at this year’s conference.

These awards recognise individuals and teams who demonstrate exceptional commitment to HSCP practice education, including:

Facilitating student placements

Supporting Periods of Adaptation (POA)

Promoting high-quality clinical training

Aligned with the conference theme Lead, Learn, Innovate, the awards celebrate the vital contribution of practice educators in developing a skilled and practice-ready HSCP workforce.

The awards will be presented at the National HSCP Conference 2026, recognising one individual AND one team from each of the six health regions. Winners from both categories will be selected by an evaluation committee comprised of HSCP representatives within their region.

Prizes include:

Individual Award: €1,200 bursary towards a micro-credential course

Team Award: €5,000 bursary for a team development programme

Nomination criteria: Nominees must demonstrate sustained commitment to supporting HSCP student practice placements and/or POA with clear evidence of leadership, learning, innovation, and impact.

Self-nominations are welcome

Nominations may also be submitted by HEIs or students

All nominations must include confirmation of support from the relevant line manager or HEI

Application Deadline: Wednesday the 12^th of September, 2026 at 5pm

Winners Announced: National HSCP Conference 2026, Wednesday the 14^th of October 2026
