By the end of this study day, participants should be able to:

identify the key issues and activities that the change agent must take into
account in ensuring the successful implementation and institutionalisation of a
change programme.
2. Understand the roles and responsibilities during change.
3. Explore a range of tools to facilitate you, the team, and colleagues through
change.
4. Examine and differentiate alternative approaches to the management of change
and their implications for management practice.
5. Explore the unique challenges thrown up by the healthcare context in terms of
change management and examined the potentially competing narratives of
different stakeholders.
6. Examine the role and ideal attributes, behaviours and values of a successful
change agent.
