  4. A QI project to improve waiting times for inpatient video telemetry: A QI project to increase capacity and reduce max waiting times from 12 months to 4 weeks by May 2020 for inpatient video telemetry

  5. Lean, Green and Mean: Getting to the Heart of the Mater: Due to a cumulative increase in the number of implantable CIEDs, coupled with the success of a patient population living longer, MMUH experienced a 5-fold growth in device clinic activity 2003 – 2016. Applying Lean Six Sigma methodology, our project aimed to optimise the delivery of and validate the impact of Remote Device Monitoring on a high burden of unscheduled activity

  6. Respiratory Sleep Lab New Home Sleep Service: Following the outbreak of COVID, where we were left unable to run our service.  We changed our service from performing inpatient sleep studies on NON COMPLEX patients on the Surgical Day Unit at night to  a home service re COVID.  This initiative has turned out to be very successful despite limited resources
