The IICMP is pleased to host a webinar presented by Dr. Ann Coughlan, ‘The Professional Compass: Navigating Clinical Practice, Leadership, Education & Research’. This session will offer thoughtful, practical guidance to support professional practice, career progression, and leadership development across each Clinical Measurement Physiology profession.
Dr. Coughlan is a Consultant Scientist in Neurophysiology with over 40 years’ experience spanning advanced clinical practice, education, and healthcare leadership in Ireland, Canada, and the UK. She has led national and service-level quality improvement and advanced practice initiatives, including the development of intraoperative neurophysiology services, and was a specialist lecturer at TU Dublin for more than two decades. Ann has also held senior education, research, and quality roles with the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland. She has latterly authored a number of national advisory reports for the HSE and the National Health and Social Care Professions Office, led on the development of the suite of IICMP 2024 Standards of Professional Practice for Clinical Measurement Physiologists and its Code Professional Conduct and of Ethics and is a past President of the IICMP.
