Event Details
April 21 - 2022
Colon Capsule Endoscopy (CCE) Conference

The first Colon Capsule Endoscopy (CCE) Conference will take place on Thursday 21 April.

It is a hybrid event co-hosted by the Centre for Sustainable Delivery (CfSD) and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (RCSE), sponsored by Medtronic. It will take place both virtually and in person from the Royal College of Surgeons Offices in Edinburgh and Birmingham, and will bring together experts to share the latest developments in CCE technology, best practice and exciting developments for the future.

The day will offer a very varied programme, covering emerging evidence of the benefits of CCE from around the world, sharing lessons learned from our Scottish roll-out and NHSE Pilot and examining future developments.

Registration is open now, to attend online and in person, see attached.

Delegates can either register to attend in person, either in Birmingham or Edinburgh or virtually. The site in Birmingham will hopefully be chaired by one of the NHSE clinical leads and will virtually link in to Edinburgh.

The CCE International Conference is relevant to  anyone with an interest in the adoption of colon capsule, including:

  • CCE clinical leads
  • CCE service managers
  • Endoscopy and gastrointestinal nurses, gastroenterologists, general and colorectal surgeons, medical and surgical trainees
  • Primary care nurses and doctors
  • Scottish Government, CFSD and NHS England colleagues
