Ann is a neurophysiology scientist and healthcare manager, with over 35 years experience in both adult and paediatric practice, in Beaumont and CHI Crumlin and a Consultant Clinical Scientist (CSci) in Neurophysiology in the NHS. She holds MPPM from DIT, PG Diploma in Physical Sciences in Medicine from TCD, MSc in Epilepsy from School of Medicine in Birmingham University and a PhD in Neurophysiology from TU Dublin.
Specialist areas include epilepsy and neurophysiology intra operative monitoring. She was a specialist lecturer on the TU Dublin BSc (hons) in Clinical Measurement Science for over 20 years. Ann has latterly worked with RCPI as Research Manager, Educationalist, and Manager of the National Specialty QI Programmes. Most recently, working with colleagues in the National Health and Social Care Professionals Office she authored a Report on Health and Social Care Professions Practice Education During and Post Covid 19.
